Ghazanfar Rokn Abadi:Iran stands with Syrian Govt. and Nation

 

 

 

 Beirut-Iran ambassador to Beirut has said that Islamic Republic of Iran has moved parallel to the majority demand for reform by President Bashar al-Assad and stands with Syrian nation and government.

According to Mehr News Agency, (MNA), Ghazanfar Rokn Abadi, Iranian ambassador to Lebanon met with Michael Kassarji, chief of the Lebanese Chaldeans.

Michael Kassarji, chief of the Lebanese Chaldeans stressed the need for peaceful coexistence of believers of all religions and sects in Lebanon and the region and said that “the Islamic Republic of Iran is a great state with special consideration of groups, especially in Lebanon, and it has kept good relations with all sides.”

He also appreciated the Islamic Republic of Iran’s support for Chaldean Christians and their activities across the country. Ghazanfar Rokn Abadi, Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon congratulated the Lebanese Christians on the anniversary of the birth of Jesus Christ and the Christian New Year and said that the Islamic Republic of Iran’s principle policy is supporting the underprivileged and righteous globally.

“Supporting the underprivileged and righteous has not been limited to a specific religion or sect. Based on the law and Islamic teachings, the Islamic Republic of Iran considers it as its duty to help spread equality regionally and globally,” he added, evaluating Islamic Republic support for Syria in the same framework.

“Similarly in Syria, the Islamic Republic of Iran moves parallel to the majority demand for reform by President Bashar al-Assad and stands with the Syrian nation and government,” he asserted.
