MUSCAT – Syria’s national football team beat Singapore 1-0 in the second round of the joint qualifications for World Cup in Russia 2018 and Asia Cup in UAE 2019, having the second 3 points in the 5th group.
With this win, the Syrian national team raised its points to 6 to lead the 5th group, while Singapore comes second with 4 points, Japan third with 4 points, Afghanistan fourth with 3 points and Cambodia in the bottom without any point.
Adi Jafal scored for Syria in the second leg of the match which was held in the Omani capital, Muscat, SANA reported.
Syria’s national football team will meet Cambodia on September 9th.
