Private Sector and Alternative Energy for Better Future

DAMASCUS, (ST) –  Environmental threats surrounding our planet are considered the greatest danger to human on this planet, and the continued use of electric power and fuel will increase the negative effects on the atmosphere and increase the damageson human, plant and animal..

There was a loud cry of bodies and associations that sponsor the environment and takeinterest in protecting it, to appeal governments, companies and individuals to save the earth.

Some countriesand organizations responded to this appeal and began to take a number of measures, enacted some laws to protect the environment. But this is not enough because the continuing depletion of non-renewable energy, such as oil, coal and other, will lead to environmental disaster on the planet.

So that the companies that consider themselves responsible towards sustainable development that impose a lot of challenges to explore possible options for the use of modern technology and the least negative impact and to serve the society, the environment and the economy.

Today it is depend on many of the renewable energy sources, such as solar energy, wind energy and water. These companies started the journey of sustainability in the optimal use of energy and the search for renewable alternative energy that live with us and we live with it, which can be used to ensure the protection of the environment and human together. Solar energy is the most common alternative sources that have a lot of uses in generating clean energy, also can be used to heat water and generate electricity. Through the use of solar panels, we can generate electricity, and therefore this will allow us to relieve the load on the power grid and provide electricity for future generations.

On the local level in Syria, many public and private sector companieshave worked hand in hand in order to start using alternative energy in its operations.

Syriatel Company is the first among private sector companies that complied with the decrees and directives issued by the government, which provides for using alternative renewable energy as solutions and adopted this energy as a strategy in its work to serve the community and the environment. Syriatel is the first to work on securing communications services using solar and wind power. The company began to take advantage of this rich source in the year 2010 in order to ease the burden on the electrical grid.

Alternative energy is environment-friendly because it guaranteed human energy and not cause any danger to health.

The use of sustainable energy means a clean environment for future generations, especially when it is applied to all environmental regulations in the world, and when the community stands in front of its responsibilities in preserving the environment.
