Terror Explosion kills at least 10 in Lattakia city

LATTAKIA,(ST)_A car bomb exploded Wednesday in al-Hamam square in Lattakia city, killing at least 10 persons and wounding over 25 others.

A source in Lattakia province told the official news agency (SANA) that the car bomb was parked near the ‘Martyr Imad Ali’ School in al-Hamam square and it was of Van model.  

The explosion came a day after the competent authorities dismantled 2 cars laden with 400 kg of explosives in the city.

On August 17, terrorist organizations fired rockets from the northern countryside of Lattakia on Lattakia city, killing at least 4 persons and wounding over 14 others.
