ARIZONA, US, (ST) _ Young Syrian Fibula al-Ibrahim , 22, from al-Raqqa city was crowned as Miss Arab Americans.
Fibula Ibrahim is the daughter of the late Dr. Farouk Ibrahim, who was a professor at Columbia University. Her mother is dentist Rania Ojeile who after the death of her husband returned to Syria, where Fibula was brought up between the two cities of Aleppo and Raqqa, and learned French and Armenian from neighbors and friends in the two governorates. When she was 14 years, she was a member of the Armenian girls artistic band and played basketball with al-Itihad team in the city of Aleppo.
