DAMASCUS,(ST)- Stephan De Mistura insisted in his recent remarks to be away from neutrality in his mission as a UN Chief Special Envoy for Syria by making nonobjective statements that are away from reality and based on what anti-Syria parties promote, a source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said.
The source told the state news agency (SANA) on Tuesday “we hoped that the UN envoy had condemned the massacres being perpetrated by terrorist organizations like ISIL, al- Nousra Front and other al-Qaeda-affiliated terrorist groups in different parts of Syria. We also hoped that he had condemned the terrorists’ shelling of the Syrian cities of Aleppo, Lattakia and Daraa and their act of cutting off electricity and water supplies to Aleppo for weeks.”
