Saudi regime-linked terrorists escalate attacks on Damascus

DAMASCUS,(ST)_Terrorist organizations linked to Saudi regime have escalated their attacks on Damascus through firing 67 rockets and mortar shells on residential areas, killing at least 14 persons and wounding over 70 on Wednesday.

According to a police command source, the rockets and shells were fired by terrorists holed up in the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus and most of the victims from the terror attacks were children and women.

Unofficial websites reported that the number of rockets and shells that hit Damascus was 67 and they fell in Damascus citadel, Mazzeh, Zablatani, Baghdad Street, al-Qazzaz, Abo Remmaneh, Adawi, Baramkeh, Mazra’a, Mohajerin, old city of Damascus, Qassa’a Bab Touma and Rawda areas and near the “Dama Rose” Hotel and Jisr al-Raes.

Last Saturday, terrorists affiliated to the so-called the ‘Jaish al-Islam’ [Islam Army], which receive support and orders from al Saud regime, fired rockets on al-Tahwra and Baghdad Street and on Bab Touma quarter, killing 11 persons, including 3 children and a woman.

Another terro attack took place today in Aleppo city. 

The  official news agency (SANA)reported that terrorist organizations fired rockets on al-Azezeyeh quarter and George Lahdo square, killing 2women and 2men. 

Three more civilians were wounded in the rocket attack.
