Syrian army kills over 36 terrorists north of Lattakia, destroys lot of vehicles in Daraa

PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army has killed over 36 terrorists in the northern countryside of Lattakia and has carried out concentrated operations against terrorist organizations in the southern front, according to military sources.

A military source was quoted on the official news agency (SANA) as saying that army units eliminated over 36 terrorists and destroyed a car loaded with munitions and equipments  during intensified operations in Rabe’a area, about 60 km  north of Lattakia.

Well over 10 terrorists were killed and several cars equipped with machineguns belonging to them were destroyed in yesterday’s operations in al-Forrolq area, Tai Sa’ado, al-Kendaseyeh and Berj Zahyeh towns in the same province.

More 7 terrorists were also killed when army units carried out concentrated operations against terrorist hideouts in Daraa al-Mahatta in southern Daraa province.

A military source confirmed the destruction of large numbers of vehicles belonging to terrorist organizations during the operations.  

It added that an army unit destroyed a vehicle equipped with heavy machinegun belonging to terrorists in al-Yadodeh town in the northwestern countryside of Daraa.

While in the northeastern countryside of Sweida, an army unit killed many terrorists affiliated to ISIS [also known as ISIL or IS] in Rajm al-Dawleh town.

Further ISIS terrorists were eliminated in and outside Palmyra city in the eastern countryside of Homs, SANA reported.

As for Zabadani battle, army units and the Lebanese resistance recaptured buildings in Za’atot quarter north-east of Zabadani city and continued to move towards the heart of the city after killing many terrorists.

Zabadani area is located on the southern end of Qalamoun, about 50 kilometers northwest of Damascus and 12 kilometers northeast of Lebanon’s Masnaa border crossing.

Terror attack

Separately, the agency reported that terrorists fired rockets on the outskirts of Salaheddin quarter in Aleppo city, wounding at least 8 persons.  

Terrorists affiliated to the so-called the ‘Jaish al-Mojahedin’ spread in some quarter of Aleppo city and they almost daily target nearby quarters with rockets and mortars implementing Saudi and Turkish agendas against Syrians.
