Athletic Festival in Dar al-Assad for culture in Lattakia

LATTAKIA (ST) _ The executive committee of the Sports Federation branch in Lattakia organized an athletic festival in Dar al-Assad for culture on the occasion of the Syrian Arab Army festival.

The festival included a variety of athletic shows and a group of paintings which embodied the belonging to the homeland, in addition to, athletic movements, shows in gymnastics and the sporting dance.

General Mowaffak Gomaa, the head of Sports Federation, confirmed that this festival is a microcosm of Syria which lives a day of joy through the athletic shows presented by the future youth to express their confidence in the Syrian Arab Army and their appreciation to its sacrifices to defend the soil of Syria against the terrorists.

The show which presented by the athletic cadres in Lattakia expresses the sincerity of belonging to the army and Syria and its leader, General Gomaa added, asserting that it reflects the fact that our children and grandchildren are in the same trench with the Syrian Arab Army in its battle against the terrorists.

For his part, the head of the executive committee of the Sports Federation branch in Lattakia said that the celebration is a token of love and loyalty to the army soldiers who protect the homeland and sacrifice their blood and lives to defend it.
