Syrian army retakes all areas in Hasaka city from ISIS, kills 50 terrorists in Lattakia countryside

PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army recaptured all areas in Hasaka city from ISIS terrorists and killed over 50 terrorists in the northern countryside of Lattakia, the official news agency (SANA) reported Saturday.

The agency quoted sources as saying that army units in cooperation with national forces controlled the whole city of Hasaka after they eliminated all ISIS terrorists that infiltrated into it on June 25.

The sources clarified that an army units carried out overnight and at dawn Saturday intensified operations against ISIS outposts in the faculties of economy and civil engineering east of al-Zohour quarter, killing and injuring scores of terrorists.

Following the operations, the whole city of Hasaka became under the full control of army units.

Over the last month, army units and national forces have been engaged in fierce clashes with ISIS terrorists, who perpetrated crimes against the people of the city and burned diesel tanks of the branch of the General Fuel Distribution Company (SADCOP) there.  

In another development, army units regained control over Zaizoun thermal station in the western countryside of Hama and has killed many of al-Nusra Front terrorists in Qalaat al-Madiq town, about 45 km north-west of Hama city.

Further terrorists affiliated to the same terror organization [al-Nusra Front , which is al-Qaeda’ branch in Syria] were eliminated in Ofanian town in Quneitra countryside and in Daraa al-Balad in Daraa province.

Convoy of terrorists’ vehicles destroyed

Moving towards the north of the country, Syrian warplanes destroyed a convoy of vehicles belonging to terrorist organizations in the western countryside of Aleppo.

The terrorist movement called the ‘Noureddin al-Zenki’, which is linked to the Turkish intelligence body, confirmed through social media the death of 5 of its field commanders in Aleppo.

While In the northern countryside of Lattakia, Syrian warplane killed over 50 terrorists, most of them were foreign nationals, in Dwershan, al-Rawda, al-Wadi and al-Derra towns.
