Sayyed Nasrallah: Despite Ordeals, We Will Inevitably Pray in Al-Quds

Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah stressed that the Palestinian cause is above all political, sectarian and ethnic interests.

Addressing the Conference of International Union of Resistance Scholars in Beirut, Sayyed Nasrallah assured that despite all ordeals the region has been passing through, Muslims “will inevitably pray in al-Quds.”according to al-manar website.

His eminence said that the Muslim nation has been inflicted by major losses in the past few years due to the regrettable events which took place in several countries.

The Zionist entity took advantage of these events as he sought normalization of ties with some Arab states, Sayyed Nasrallah said.

Meanwhile, the resistance leader noted that the Muslims won’t abandon Palestine, noting that both Hezbollah and Iran support all those who hold the resistance flag regardless of their sectarian belongings.

Sayyed Nasralla pointed out that the scholars have to exert their efforts in a bid to fortify the ideological identity of the struggle with the Zionist entity.

Sayyed Nasrallah started his speech by stressing that the Palestinian cause is the most rightful one in our region.

“There is no rightful and legitimate cause like al-Quds and countering the Zionist enemy,” his eminence said.

“One may mix between right and wrong, but when we talk about al-Quds we are before and evident right,” Sayyed Nasrallah said referring to the different stances from the events taking place in several Arab countries.

In this context, Hezbollah S.G. said that the assessment of states, governments, parties and movements in our Ummah (nation) should be based on their position from the Palestinian cause.

His eminence then talked about the Zionist scheme, stressing that “it is our duty to counter this scheme.”

“We are before a Zionist scheme whose aims surpass occupying Palestine,” Sayyed Nasrallah said as he hailed the resistance project for securing many achievements against the Zionist scheme.

“The resistance project secured many achievements over the past decades,” including the liberation of Gaza from Israeli occupation, and the “heroic steadfastness” against Israeli wars.

Meanwhile, Sayyed Nasrallah said that the resistance project was inflicted by major losses in the past year, due to the events taking place in the region.

“The most major loss is the fact that Palestine is now out of the international and popular concerns, something which gave the enemy a historical chance in order to implement its scheme,” his eminence said.

He also warned against the events taking place in Al-Aqsa holy mosque, describing the Israeli violations as “alarming.”

In this context, Sayyed Nasrallah said that “we need now is to sit together and to assess these losses in order to come over it.”

“Among other losses are the crises in Syria, Iraq and Yemen, in a addition to antagonizing Iran which is the major supporter in confronting the Zionist scheme,” Hezbollah S.G. added.

Meanwhile, Sayyed Nasrallah noted that the Zionist enemy has been seeking to normalize ties with several Arab states, adding that Tel Aviv is taking advantage of the losses inflicted upon the resistance project.

However, he stressed that despite “the regrettable events taking place in the region, there are strength elements within our Ummah that the enemy still fears.”

Sayyed Nasrallah called upon scholars worldwide to exert efforts in a bid to fortify the ideological identity of the battle against the Zionist entity.

“This cause is above the national, political, sectarian and ethnic interests,” his eminence said, noting that the “intellectual and mobilizing efforts of the scholars are effective.”

“Despite all troubles taking place in the regions many protests expressed solidarity with the Palestinian cause in Al-Quds International Day.”

He also called for activating and boosting all forms of the resistance against the Israeli bids of normalization.

Sayyed Nasrallah said that “countering Israel requires us to be sincere and to exceptionally disdain our personal interests.”

In this context, the resistance leader said that both Iran and Hezbollah stand with whoever raises the flag of the resistance, regardless his sectarian or political belongings.

He called on any Muslim or Arab country to bear its responsibilities towards Palestine.

“We guarantee that Iran will pave the way for any Muslim or Arab country to lead the resistance project if they bear the responsibility of defending Palestine,” Sayyed Nasrallah said.

Meanwhile, Sayyed Nasrallah pointed out that the existential struggle which minorities have been engaged in has made from Israel a minor threat.

“We warn against considering Israel as the “protector” of some minorities in the region, we may reach this situation someday.”

Hezbollah S.G. also referred to what he said last year during Al-Quds International Day, that “we the Shia of Ali (AS) will never abandon Palestine. He stressed that this saying was not sectarian or political; rather it was ideological because Palestine is an ideological cause.

In this context, he noted that “there are western and international efforts to bring the Shia out from the battle with Israel.”

Then he reiterated that “we (the Shia) won’t abandon Palestine and its people at any rate.”

At the end of the speech, Sayyed Nasrallah said that “Israel, the cancerous tumor, will be wiped out, stressing that the day in which “we will pray in Al-Quds is inevitably coming.”
