BOSTON, (ST) _ The US-Syrian society in Boston yesterday held a peace and amity demonstration, attended by members of the Syrian community and their friends, during which pain was expressed, over events taking place in Syria, demanding the US to stop supporting terrorists.
In comments cited by al-Mayadeen TV channel, head of the US-Syrian society Ghias Moussa, stressed that “from Boston, where the great poet Khalil Gibran brought the first Syrian messages to the world, we have come to the same place to say that terrorism is bad for all.”
“We would like to do any act for Syria, for our people and brave army which will win by the end,” said one expatriate, Dr. Eyad Salloum.
One child, participant in the demonstration said:” We want to say to the Syrians inside Syria that we love you, think about you, and we want to expose to the Americans what is happening in Syria.”
One expatriate Lady, arguing on Saudi Arabia Syria will not kneel down, and will remain steadfast.”
