Sanandaj – President Hassan Rouhani said that the world once again bent to the will and bowed to the greatness of the Iranian nation in Vienna, according to IRNA.
Addressing the local people in Esteghlal Stadium in Sanandaj, capital city of western province of Kurdistan, President Rouhani underscored nowadays Iran is in a position that no country can threaten the Islamic republic.
‘We have managed to settle the nuclear issue at the negotiating table, we are also able to solve other regional and international issues through negotiations,’ he added.
President Rouhani also advised the American officials to change their policy, adding, ‘the legs of the table are broken‘.
President Rouhani was referring to the frequent remarks of American officials that say ‘All options, including military one, are on the table.’
‘The capacity of the Iranian nation is more important that the nuclear energy,’ he said.
‘Thanks to the relentless resistance of the Iranian nation, the world powers today have admitted the Iranians will never give in to pressure,’ President Rouhani noted.
President Rouhani arrived in Sanandaj in western province of Kurdistan Sunday morning at the 20th leg of his provincial tours.
Upon arrival, President Rouhani was welcomed at the Sannadaj Airport by the ranking provincial officials.
The President is leading a delegation including some members of his cabinet to the province.
During his day-long stay, President Rouhani is to hold public meetings, confer with officials, and meet provincial officials as well as economic figures and the elite of the province.
Iranians looking for moderation, peace – Rouhani
President Hassan Rouhani underlined that the Iranian nation is in favor of moderation, brotherhood, stability, security and peace.
‘The aggression, confiscation of lands and interference in internal affairs of other countries do not have any place on Iran’s agenda,’ President Rouhani said, addressing the meeting of Kurdistan provincial administrative council on Sunday.
He noted that the regional countries consider Iran as sympathizer of the region.
President Rouhani said that the Iranian nation should get united against the enemies’ threats.
Iran’s atomic chief rejects secrecy in Tehran, says Salehi
On the other hand in Tehran,Vice-President and Head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Ali Akbar Salehi underlined that there is no secrecy in recent agreement between Tehran and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
‘Our agreement with the IAEA is not secret,’ Salehi said special news program of IRIB’s channel two on Sunday night.
Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency Yukiya Amano and Salehi signed a roadmap of cooperation on July 14.
Amano, for his part, said the roadmap calls for his agency, with Iran’s cooperation, to make an assessment of issues relating to what is called as possible military dimensions of the Islamic Republic’s nuclear program by the end of 2015.
‘This is a significant step forward toward clarifying outstanding issues regarding Iran’s nuclear program,’ Amano said.
The remarks came as Iran and the Group 5+1 (the US, Russia, China, Britain and France plus Germany) are about to declare a sum-up agreement after years of talks.
