Syrian army repels ISIS infiltration bid into hill in Palmyra, kills many terrorist in southern front

PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army has repelled ISIS terrorists’ infiltration bid into a hill in Palmyra countryside and has killed many of al-Nusra Front terrorists in the southern front.

According to a military source, an army unit killed today many ISIS terrorists as they were trying to infiltrate into al-MaQale’a hill [quarries hill] in Palmyra countryside.

More terrorists affiliated to the al-Nusra Front were eliminated as army units struck their hideouts in Khan al-Shieh farm and al-Hseneyeh town in the southwestern countryside of Damascus as well as in Jabbata al-Khashab and Trenjeh towns in the northern countryside of Qunietra.

There was also a military operation against terrorist organizations in al-Horeyeh town in the northeastern countryside of the same province [Quneitra].

The province of Quneitra witnessed a rocket attack as al-Nusra Front terrorists fired rockets from Jabbata al-Khashab and Trenjeh towns on Hader town, killing one person and wounding 10 others, including a child.

In another development, Syrian warplanes bombed al-Nusra Front hideouts in Abo Duhur, Khan Shikhon and Bennish areas in Idlib countryside, according to a military source.
