President Al-Assad Congratulates Khamenei, Rouhani on Iran’s Final Nuclear Deal with G5+1

DAMASCUS, (ST)-President Bashar Al-Assad on Tuesday congratulated Supreme Leader of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Imam Ali Khamenei and the Iranian President Hasan Rouhani on the historical achievement realized by reaching a final deal between Iran and the G5+1 on the Iranian nuclear file.

President Al-Assad sent two cables to Imam Khamenei and President Rouhani expressing his and the Syrian people’s congratulations to Iran on this great victory.

 

H.E. President Al-Assad stressed that the deal crowns the steadfastness of the Iranian people in the confrontation of the unjust sanctions imposed on the Islamic republic of Iran.

“It is a major turning point in the history of Iran, the region and the entire world and it is an unequivocal recognition by countries of world that the Iranian nuclear program is peaceful and it guarantees the national rights of the Iranian people and affirms the sovereignty of the Iranian Republic and its independent decision,” President al-Assad said.

“We are assured that Iran will keep supporting people’s just causes and work to attain peace and stability in the region and the entire world,” the President added.
