President Al-Assad the Guarantee of Secular State in Syria – Czech Member of EU Parliament

PRAGUE, (ST) – Member of the European Parliament for the Czech Republic Miloslav Ransdorf has stressed that President Bashar Al-Assad is the guarantee of Secular State continuity in Syria, so it is necessary to support him not to do the opposite like the American administration is doing.

In a statement to ‘Parliamentary Papers” website, Ransdorf said within their frantic quest to overthrow the Syrian government, “the Americans kept interfering in the crisis in Syria in favor of the extremists, but now they are reaping the results of their deeds.”

“The Americans contributed to worsening the crisis in Syria,” he added, pointing out that despite the complicated situation in Syria, solution can be found in establishing a real international coalition that eliminates ISIS and proposes a program for social and economic recovery in the entire region.

Ransdorf asserted that “the Baath Party is the guarantee of the secular system in Syria and of secure life to people.”

He clarified that if he personally was in the same circumstances of late President Hafez Al-Assad upon the Moslem Brotherhood events in 1982 he would do what the late President did for the Moslem Brotherhood terrorist organization.

Jean Frederic Poisson, the Deputy at the French National Assembly and President of the Christian Democratic Party, said yesterday that Syria will continue to be the key to the Middle East. He pointed out that the French diplomacy has committed mistakes in its policy towards Syria and that these mistakes have led France to lose its position and influence in the region.
