PARIS,(ST)_ Challenging all forms of unfair economic sanctions imposed on Syria and in boosting social and national links between expatriates and their families at home, “Syria lap 2” flights were launched from several European cities on board a Syrian airlines via Algeria towards Damascus and Lattakia.
Flights coordinator Dr. Rima Khlefawi told “SANA” that flights will be on weekly basis from France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, and England, to transport Syrian expatriates to the motherland Syria, noting that the main goal is to break the siege imposed on the Syrian airlines and in support of the national economy.
Khlefawi noted coordination with the Syrian and Algerian airlines, which provided all the facilities for the success of these flights, adding that the flights will continue on a weekly basis during July and August, as number of bookings has increased to reach 120 travelers registered in the framework of flights “lap Syria 2”,over the two months.
Last year, the Syrian community in France launched the first lap Syria trip from several French and European cities via Algeria on board the Syrian air crafts, which carried Syrian families and students living in several European cities.
