Syrian army kills 50 al-Nusra Front terrorists in Lattakia countryside, strikes ISIS stronghold in Hasaka

PROVINCES, (ST) _ Syrian army has killed scores of terrorists in qualitative operations in Daraa, Aleppo and Lattakia countryside, the official news agency (SANA) reported Tuesday.

The agency clarified that army units killed over 50 terrorists affiliated to the al-Nusra Front and destroyed 2 vehicles belonging to them during qualitative operations in towns of Diroshan,  al-Derra and Rabe’a in the northern countryside of Lattakia.

 Further terrorists affiliated to the same front were eliminated in al-Mansora town and on the outskirts of the scientific research building in Aleppo province as well as in al-Naemeh town in the eastern countryside of Daraa and in the eastern countryside of Quneitra.

A military source declared that terrorists affiliated to the so-called the Ahrar al-Sham and the ‘al-Forgan brigades, were among those who were killed in Mashara town in Quneitra countryside.

Moving towards the central region, army units killed many of al-Nusra Front terrorists in Taldo , al-Holeh and al-Rastan areas in the northern countryside of Homs.

While in Hasaka province, Syrian warplanes bombed the ISIS hideouts in al-Shdadi town, about 60km south of Hassaka city, in order to paralyze the movement of the ISIS terrorists and to prevent the arrival of the terrorists and car bombs at Hasaka city.

Last night, an army unit destroyed a car bomb before it reached the southern entrance to Hassaka city.

Another car bomb was destroyed by army units before reaching Jameyyet al-Zahraa quarter in Aleppo.
