ISIL Kidnaps 111 Iraqi Kids to Use Them in Terrorist Operations

Members of the ISIL Takfiri terrorist group have abducted 111 schoolchildren from various districts of the northern Iraqi city of Mosul to use them in terrorist activities, according to Press TV.

Spokesman for Iraqi Kurdistan’s Democrat Party, Saeed Mamuzini, said on Sunday that the abducted children, mostly aged between 10 to 15 years, have been transferred to the ISIL terrorist group’s educational and military centers for brainwashing, Iraq’s Arabic news channel AlSumaria reported.

He added that the ISIL terrorists also arrested 78 men who protested against the abduction of their children.

The Kurdish official noted that the terrorists have kidnapped 1,420 Iraqi children since the capture of the country’s second city over a year ago and forced them to receive military training, so that ISIL could use them in terrorist and intelligence operations.

Mamuzini had previously said that ISIL terrorists had executed 15 of its own militants after facing a defeat in Bashiqa town northeast of Mosul, adding they were killed by children trained by the terrorist group.

Iraqi local and security officials have said that ISIL Takfiris abducted 500 children in the eastern province of Diyala and western province of al-Anbar.

The ISIL started its campaign of terror in Iraq in early June 2014. The heavily-armed terrorists took control of Mosul before sweeping through parts of the country’s Arab heartland.

The terrorists have been carrying out horrific acts of violence against all Iraqi communities.
