Defense Minister visits air force unit

Damascus – Upon directives of President Bashar al-Assad, Chief of Staff of the Army and Armed Forces, Gen. Ali Abdullah Ayoub toured an air force base and inspected the situation in it and the ongoing operations against the terrorist groups.

 General Ayoub also paid a visit to a nearby unit tasked with maintaining weaponry and inspected the work and the military readiness in it.

For their parts, the army soldiers affirmed their determination to go ahead in confronting terrorism with all its forms.
