Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad JavadZarif is scheduled to hold meetings on Monday with EU foreign policy chief as well as British, French and German counterparts on nuclear negotiations.
While a meeting with US secretary of state is reportedly not confirmed so far, it was announced that Luxembourg is set as the venue of talks between Zarif and the European officials.
Later in the day, he will return to Tehran to follow up the talks which are underway in Vienna while his deputies Abbas Araqchi and MajidTakhtRavanchi are involved in marathon talks on drafting the text of nuclear agreement.
The date of final round of negotiations between Iran and P5+1 group of world powers in Vienna is yet to be announced.
Araqchi, Mogherini deputies hold meeting to decide talks’ trend
Following internal meeting of deputies of foreign ministers of member countries of Group 5+1, Seyed Abbas Araqchi and MajidTakht-e-Ravanchi held a coordinating meeting with Helga Schmidt to arrange for the roadmap of the upcoming weeks of nuclear talks.
Deputy foreign ministers of Britain, France, China, Russia and the US, who arrived in to Vienna on Thursday, held an internal meeting for coordinating their stances on Friday morning.
This is the first meeting of six world powers after the recent statement of US Secretary of State John Kerry that for reaching agreement and removing the sanctions, his government is looking to future, not past.
Araqchi and Ravanchi are in Vienna since Wednesday to hold the 8th round of talks for compiling comprehensive agreement text and will stay there at least till the end of determined time, July 1.
