PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army has destroyed several hideouts and rocket launchers belonging to the al-Nusra Front terrorist in the southern Front, according to the official news agency (SANA).
The agency clarified that army units conducted concentrated operations against the al-Nusr Front hideouts in Daraa al-Balad and in the northern and northwestern countryside of Daraa.
At least 5 terrorists were killed and a hideout plus mortar launcher were destroyed in Daraa al-Balad, a military source said, adding that army units carried out intensified strikes against terrorist groupings in Kafer Nasej town in the northwestern countryside of Daraa and in towns of al-Fqe’a Ebtaa and Faada in the northern countryside of Daraa.
The source confirmed the destruction of a rocket launcher in Faada area which is located south of Inkhel town.
Meanwhile, an army unit eliminated many terrorists affiliated to the ISIS during an operation against their groupings in an area located east of Tal Bothaina in the northeastern countryside of sweida.
Army units in cooperation with popular defense groups seek to cut the terrorist organizations’ supply routes from Jordanian and Iraqi borders.
In another development, it was reported that army units killed over 140 ISIS terrorists on the outskirts if Tabaqa airbase in Raqqa province.
