Over 300 al-Nusra Front terrorists killed during Jisr Esh Shugur hospital battle

PROVINCES,(ST)_A military source has said that over 300 terrorists affiliated to the al-Nusra Front were killed during airstrikes staged by Syrian warplanes to break siege of the Jisr Esh Shugur Hospital in Idlib.  

The source told the official news agency (SANA) the airstrikes killed 300 terrorists and wounded hundreds more.

On Friday, the Syrian soldiers defending the Jisr Esh Shugur Hospital, backed by airstrikes and artillery fire, broke 28-day terrorists’ siege of the hospital.  

Today, army units carried out a qualitative operation on the outskirts of Sa’asa’a town in the southwestern countryside of Damascus and killed many terrorists in Daraa countryside.

A military source declared that many terrorists, most of them affiliated to the al-Nusra Front, were killed and a hideout was pounded in the qualitative operation.

Syrian helicopter comes down   

In another development, a Syrian helicopter went down shortly after it had taken-off from Kweris airbase in Aleppo countryside due to technical fault.

The helicopter crew members were martyred, a military source confirmed.

Concerning the ongoing battle in Qalamoun area on the Syrian-Lebanese border, the Beirut-based al-Mayadeen TV channel reported that Syrian army and Lebanese resistance seized a bomb-making factory in Flita barrens.

Al-Nusra Front abducts 30 Kurds

It added that al-Nusra Front terrorists abducted 30 Kurds from Efrin town in Aleppo countryside as they were coming back from Damascus.  

While in the northeastern province of Hasaka, it was reported that the ISIS terrorists exploded a car bomb at the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) site in Em Sh’khat town in Raas al-Ein countryside.
