ISIS terrorists fire shells and rockets on Palmyra city

PALMYRA,(ST)_ISIS terrorists have fired shells and rockets on urban areas in Palmyra city, leaving casualties, according to the official news agency (SANA).

The agency quoted a source in Palmyra city as citing that terrorists linked to the so-called the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria [ISIS], which also known as ISIL or IS, fired last night and today morning several shells and rockets on the city of Palmyra.

The terror attack killed many persons and wounded several others, the source said, adding that dozens of homes and shops and infrastructure were damages in the attack.

The terror attack came a day after Syrian army defeated ISIS terrorists in Palmyra countryside.
