Iran Is Most Powerful Regional Country

Commander of Iran’s Basij (volunteer) Force Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Naqdi underlined that Iran is the biggest regional country due to the wise leadership of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.

The enemies did believe that one day the Islamic Iran will become so powerful; today we are in a sensitive historical juncture that Supreme Leader has laid emphasis on and this important affair needs vigilance of all individuals,” Brigadier General Naqdi said, addressing a gathering in Western city of Arak.

He underlined that Iran’s Islamic Revolution changed the path of the world so that the diagram of the US power took a descending order.

Brigadier General Naqdi, meantime, pointed to Saudi attacks on Yemen, and said, “The Al Saud regime has targeted the oppressed people while supporting the US and the occupying regime of Quds.”

Iran in good security conditions Zolfaqari

Meanwhile, Deputy Interior Minister Hossein Zolfaqari voiced his satisfaction in Iran’s security conditions over last Iranian year (ended March 20, 2015).

Iran was in good conditions in terms of security last year and the potential offenses were controlled or considerably reduced,” Zolfaqari said, addressing a meeting of Mazandaran Security Council in the city of Sari, Northern Iran.

In July, Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Hossein Dehqan underlined preparedness of the country’s military, security and intelligence forces to thwart any destabilizing threat to Iran’s borders, particularly in the West.

The Iranian commander underscored that Iranian armed forces are watching the country’s borders so carefully that there has not remain any chance for the Takfiri terrorist groups, including the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), to pose any threat for Iran.

‘The ISIL not only is not a threat to our country, but also Iraqi nation will eradicate the group by themselves,’ he stressed, adding members of the ISIL group are ’employed mercenaries’ who are present in Iraq and Syria to destabilize peace and tranquility in the region.

The ISIL is operating in Northern and Northwestern Iraq near the country’s borders with Turkey and Syria. A few hundred kilometers to their East is the border with Iran’s Western and Northwestern provinces.
