US Soldiers, Security Experts Deployed at Jordanian-Syrian Borders

AMMAN, (ST) – The United States has deployed soldiers and security experts at the Jordanian-Syrian borders, according to a Jordanian security source.

The US move stresses the insistence of the United States and its agents in the region to boost their political and military support for terrorist organizations in Syria under false pretexts like the plan of training what it is called “moderate opposition.

Last Thursday, American officials asserted that the US army had started training for members of the so-called “moderate opposition” operating in Syria within camps set in Jordan and to be set soon in Turkey, claiming that they aim at fighting ISIS terrorist organization. However, reports, facts and intelligence information assert that the United States and its allies have created ISIS to serve their interests in the Middle East.

According to Jordanian media, a Jordanian security source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, revealed that “US soldiers and security experts were heavily deployed at the Syrian borders,” claiming that “the deployment comes within the framework of carrying out joint US-Jordanian operations to secure the Jordanian borders and providing training to military forces in the region.”

In March, Jordan acknowledged it joined the US plan to support and arm the terrorists of what Washington calls “moderate opposition” in Syria in cooperation with certain regimes in the region particularly the Turkish regime under Recepe Tayyib Erdogn.

The Jordanian government’s spokesman and State Minister for Information Affairs Mohammad Moumeni announced that his country was a partner in the US plan and that Jordan in partnership with the international alliance will provide training to members of Syrian clans to confront the terrorism of ISIS.

Last month, the Washington Post revealed that the training of the terrorists whom the US calls “moderate opposition” will start this month. The Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlua affirmed his country’s determination to train and arm 2000 terrorists in 2015.

Reports and intelligence information stress that Jordan, Turkey and Saudi Arabia are setting up training camps for terrorists funded by the Saudi regime and supervised by the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). They will help trained terrorists cross into the Syrian lands and will facilitate the entry of arms and money to the terrorists groups inside Syria as to continue their crimes against the Syrians.
