Syrian-US Forum Confirms Syria Right for Self Defense

NEW JERSEY,(ST)_ The Syrian-US Forum has held a seminar in New Jersey entitled ” Syria, axis of resistance”,  as part of the activities of the National Alliance Conference Against War, held for 2015 under the title “Stop local and foreign wars.”

Forum board member, Dr. Ghias Moussa gave historical and analytical explanation of the events that have taken place in the region, in general and Syria in particular, during the last century.

Mousa noted the importance of refuting and exposing fabricated lies by hostile media used as fake slogans intended only to destroy Syria’s regional and national role, considering that what is happening in the region is but an Israeli project to divert attention away from the Arab Central cause of Palestine.

Moussa stressed that no matter what the conditions will be, Syria will emerge more consistent, as an ideal model in building peoples and societies.

For her part, Syrian activist Manal Ghabash noted the brutal terrorist organizations in Syria and its violations against innocent civilians, saying “in my country every day hundreds of martyrs are martyred, and in every city and each village children, women and men die without guilt, as a result of terrorists hatred,  in the name of religion and false freedom. “

Ghabash warned of the danger of terrorism expansion to the world and the need to combat it instead of supporting and feeding it.

In turn, secretary of the National Alliance for the protection of civil liberties in the US, Sarah Vlounders stressed Syria’s eligibility in defending itself against international attack, calling on the attendees to intensify their efforts in the American society at the official and media levels, and to express their rejection of the US administration’s policy that does not know, but war and destruction.

Vlounders provided an explanation of what she saw during a visit to Syria about the will of the Syrians and their insistence to live and maintain their dignity and national sovereignty.

The conference included a series of seminars and lectures about foreign wars waged by the USA, in addition to what the organizers called internal wars, mainly centered mainly on the repression used by the local police against Americans of African and Hispanics origins.
