PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army has inflicted heavy losses upon the ISIS and the al-Nusra Front terrorists in Homs countryside and has destroyed several hideouts and arms caches belonging to al-Nusra Front in Daraa countryside.

According to the official news agency (SANA), army units carried out today morning fresh operations against the hideouts of al-Nusra Front and the ISIS in Jeb al-Jrah area and in towns of Abo Hwadid, Em al-Rish, Rajm al-Qaser and Salam Gharbi in the eastern countryside of Homs.

The operations came a day after Syrian warplanes had destroyed several ISIS vehicles on the outskirts of Jabal al-Shaer in Palmyra countryside.

In the same province [Homs], army units pounded hideouts belonging to the al-Nusra Front, the so-called the ‘Homs Legion’ and the ‘Ajnad Homs’ in the northern countryside of the province.

There were also clashes between army units and al-Nusra Front terrorists, who tried to infiltrate from al-Holeh and Talbeseh into military posts on the outskirts of Jabborin and Kafernan towns, which lie 19 Km east of Homs city.

Many terrorists were killed and injured in the clashes.

Moving towards the south of the country, army units killed a terrorist group and destroyed two vehicles belonging to them in Daraa al-Balad in Daraa province, according to a military source.

The source added that army units targeted terrorist groupings in the Strategic Hamad hill and in towns of Kafer Nasej and in an area located west of Semlin town in the northwestern countryside of Daraa.

“Several hideouts and arms caches belonging to al-Nusra Front were destroyed on the outskirts of Bosra al-Harir and in al-Sheikh Meski, Inkhel, Eb and Nemer towns,” the source confirmed
