The Iraqi army, backed by popular forces, is planning to regain control of Northeastern Fallujah in Anbar province after it took full control of al-Karama region in the same province.
Military analysts believe that Northeastern Fallujah is the key to defeating the ISIL in Anbar province.
Fallujah is a strategic city of Anbar province and with a population of about 300,000 the city is located 69 kilometers to the West of Baghdad and to the East of Euphrates River.
When ISIL attacked Fallujah, one of Iraq’ populated cities, it massacred a large number of its citizens.
The ISIL is present in Eastern and Northeastern parts of Fallujah; the ISIL currently controls military hospital, Al-Mazra’a camp, cement factory, al-Fallujah base, al-Zanbaq base, Al-Sajr district, al-Shahabi district and warehouses of al-Karama region.
If the Iraqi army regains control of Northeastern Fallujah it will pave the way for the domino defeat of the ISIL.
Simultaneous with the army’s offensive against the ISIL strongholds in al-Karama, a large number of popular forces from the region’s tribes joined the army men to eradicate the ISIL from their region.
The ISIL Takfiri terrorists currently have threatened all communities in Iraq and Syria, as they continue their atrocities in Iraq.
Senior Iraqi officials have blamed Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and some Gulf Arab states for the growing terrorism in their country.
The ISIL has links with Saudi intelligence and is believed to be indirectly supported by the Israeli regime.
