Cham Wings Airliner Starts flights to Kuwait

DAMASCUS, (ST) – Cham Wings airliner on Sunday started its first flight to Kuwait as part of a plan to expand its external flights to the neighboring countries.

Consultant Business Development in the company Osama Sat’i said in a statement to local press that the conduct of trips aims to facilitate the transfer of Syrian citizens to and from Kuwait, especially that the Syrian community there is estimated at “170, 000 citizens,” noting that “the company will conduct three weekly flights and can be increased depending on the need of the market.”

“The company intends to conduct flights to Dubai and the first flight is due to be on May 14,”Mr. Sat’i revealed.

The Company Sham Wings, which was founded in 2008 and was adopted as a Syrian national carrier in 2014.The Company conducts flights from Damascus to Qamishli, regular flights to Najaf in Iraq and Damascus to Beirut and Istanbul.
