Syria to Participate in Algeria Exhibition

DAMASCUS, (ST) – Director of the Export and Development Promotion Agency (EDPA)Ihab Asmandar confirmed that the DEPA’s plan this year includes the participation in many international exhibitions in the fields of food and textile industries and some other industries.

Mr. Asmandar said that the EDPA will participate in Algeria exhibition which will be held on May 27.Some eight companies specialized in food and textile industries, cosmetics, chemicals will take part in the five –day event, adding that the Algerian market is important for Syrian products.

The DEP Aalso will take part in the Moscow Exhibition for Food Industries, which will be held in September, adding that a study and a preparation to organize Syria products exhibition in Moscow in cooperation with the Syrian authorities concerned in order to find out which products are popular in the Russian market., Mr. Asmandar pointed out.
