Syrian army pounds al-Nusra Front hideouts in Daraa, Quneitra, Idlib

PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army has obliterated several terrorist hideouts belonging to the al-Nusra Front in Daraa, Quneitra and Idlib, according to the official news agency (SANA).

The agency quoted a military source as saying today that army units eliminated many terrorists near al-Sultan fuel station, which is located on Gheraz prison road south of al-N’emeh town in the eastern countryside of Daraa.

The source added that army units killed many of al-Nusra Front terrorists and destroyed weapons belonging to them during a concentrated operation in al-Hrak city, about 30km north-east of Daraa city.

More terrorists were killed and injured when army units targeted terrorist groupings and supply routes in towns of Rajm al-Zayton, Kom al-Hajar, Sida, Kafer Shams and al-Ghareyeh in the same province [Daraa].

Terrorist organizations announced through social media that three of their members were killed.

One of the terrorists, his name Jamal al-Badi al-Halqi , was treated in a Jordanian hospital but he died of wounds.

Successful military operations

In Quneitra countryside, which is adjacent to the northwestern countryside of Daraa, army units carried out a successful operation against al-Nusra Front sites at the square of Nab’a al-Sakher town, about 16km south-east of Quneitra city.

Several vehicles belonging to the al-Nusr Front plus weapons were destroyed during the operation in which all terrorists inside vehicles died.

In the northwestern countryside of Idlib, army units pounded several terrorist hideouts and killed many terrorists in Bashlamon, Majdalia and  Filon towns, according to SANA.

While the AIkhbaria Syria TV channel said that army units expanded their control of several towns in Idlib province and seized Qatari food items plus Turkish medical equipments.

Another advance was made by army units in Aleppo countryside, according to the Beirut-based al-Mayadeen TV channel.

The TV channel reported that Syrian army recaptured town of Hjara Kabira plus surrounding hills overlooking Khanaser road south of Aleppo city.

Yesterday, army units pounded two hideouts belonging to the ISIS in an area located north of al-Tabaqa city in Raqqa province.

On the other hand, it was said that ISIS terrorists blew up an explosive-backed car at a checkpoint belonging to the so-called the ‘Islam army’ in al-Hajar al-Aswad quarter south of Damascus.
