Al-Lahham, Larijani Discuss Difficulties in the Region

DAMASCUS, (ST)_ Speaker of the People’s Assembly (PA) Mohammad Jihad al-Lahham and Iranian Parliament (Majlis) Speaker Ali Larijani discussed on Tuesday the aggravating conditions and ways to confront challenges which exposed on the region due to intervention of some regimes in the internal affairs of the countries.

During a phone call, Larijani affirmed Iran’s fully support to Syria and Iraq in their battle against takfiri terrorism backed by Arab and regional countries.

 For his part, Al-Lahham expressed appreciation of the Syrian people to Iran for its stand towards Syria and Palestine, voicing relief over the success of Iran over its nuclear program agreement.

They also stressed the importance of halting the Saudi aggression on Yemen through political initiatives which contribute to stop the shedding of Yemeni blood.
