French Government, Terrorist Organizations Partners in Shedding Syrians’ Blood- Foreign Ministry

DAMASCUS, (ST)-The French government once again confirms its alliance and complete partnership with the terrorist takfiri organizations, described by France as “moderate opposition” in Syria, through adopting misleading policies and falsifying facts to cover the crimes of the takfiris groups who have frightened civilians and destroyed their properties in different parts of the country as they have done recently in Aleppo and Idleb, a source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates stressed on Tuesday.

The source was commenting on the French Foreign Ministry’s remarks which described ISIS and al-Nousra Front terrorists groups as “moderate opposition” and which ignored the right of the legitimate government in Syria to defend its citizens against terrorism.

In a statement to the state news agency SANA, the source said that “by defending ISIS and al-Nousra-controlled areas, the French foreign ministry ignores the UN Security Council’s resolutions, which have considered ISIS and al-Nousra Front as terrorist organizations, and it also ignores the right of the Syrian government to fight terrorism and defend its nationals.”

Regarding the French government’s weeping on the humanitarian situation in al-Yarmouk Camp, the source said that “all have become aware that terrorism is the cause of civilians’ humanitarian suffering and that the Syrian government has spared no effort to provide all forms of assistance to all residents of al-Yarmouk camp, Palestinians and Syrians alike.”

“France, who is shedding crocodile’s tears on the people of the camp, shoulders “historical responsibility” for the ordeal of the Palestinian people through its basic role in establishing the Zionist entity and supporting it, particularly by supplying this entity with necessary technology to produce nuclear weapons in order to be the spearhead of the Western colonialist scheme which aims to dominate the region and steal its resources,” the source said.

It concluded by asserting that “the French government’s policies are the result of the deeply-rooted colonialist mentality which adopts the principles of democracy and human rights as a cover to achieve its cheap goals at the expense of peoples.”
