Iraqi Army Destroys ISIL Boats in Anbar

Iraqi army troops on Sunday foiled an attempt by the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) terrorists to infiltrate into the al-Baghdadi district in Anbar province, and destroyed 4 ISIL boats and killed all the terrorists on board, FNA reported.

Iraqi army, backed by Al Obaid tribal fighters, thwarted ISIL’s infiltration attempt into al-Baghdadi district, and inflicted heavy losses on them, an informed source said.

 

Iraqi Army kills 2 ISIL terrorists in Anbar

Two terrorists of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) group were killed in clashes between the Iraqi army troops and the terrorists in al-Karmah city in Anbar province on Sunday.

The Iraqi army clashed with ISIL terrorists in al-Karmah city to the East of Fallujah, a security source said, adding that 2 terrorists were killed.

The ISIL Takfiri terrorists have threatened all communities, as they continue their atrocities in Iraq.

Senior Iraqi officials have blamed Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and some Gulf Arab states for the growing terrorism in their country.

The ISIL has links with Saudi intelligence and isbelieved to be indirectly supported by the Israeli regime.

Peshmerga repels ISIL attack in Nineveh

Meanwhile, Kurdish Peshmerga forces repelled an attack by the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) terrorists in Nineveh province, killing more than 18 terrorists on Sunday.

The Peshmerga forces thwarted an ISIL attack on Peshmerga’s positions in Hardan area in Zamar district, killing more than 18 of them, the Arabic-language Alsumaria news quoted a security source as saying.
