Turkey Adopted Wrong Policies towards Syria: Boroujerdi

TEHRAN-Alaeddin Boroujerdi, the Chairman for the Committee for Foreign Policy and National Security of the Iranian Shoura Council on Thursday stressed that Turkey has adopted wrong policies towards Syria.

In a statement to Iran’s official news agency IRNA, Bououjerdi said that “the Turkish wrong policies have led to the creation and strengthening of terrorist organizations which serve the Zionist entity and to the existence of takfiri terrorists coming from more than 80 countries to Syria and the Middle East.”

On the latest developments of the situation in Syria, Boroujerdi pointed out that “America has become willing to have negotiations with the Syrian government and that many countries have expressed desire to reopen their embassies in Damascus.”
