Syrian army advances in Zabadani area, repels infiltration bid into Aleppo city

PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army has recaptured a hill in al-Zabadani area outside Damascus and has foiled terrorists’ infiltration bid into Aleppo city, the official news agency (SANA) reported Thursday.

The agency said that army units regained control of Qal’et al-Sindyan hill, which lies north-east of al-Zabadani area in Damascus countryside, and killed many terrorists there.

The recapture of the hill synchronized with eliminating many terrorists affiliated to the al-Nusra Front, the ‘Ahrar al-Sham’ Movement the ‘Jond al-Aqsa’ group during concentrated operations in jabal al-Zaweyeh area and in towns of al-Tamane’a, Maaret Mesrin, al-Mjas,  Abo Duhur as well as in Idlib city in the northwestern province of Idlib.

More terrorists were mowed down when army units foiled infiltration attempt from the Bab al-Nasr and Bab al-Hadid areas into Aleppo city.

Elsewhere, army units targeted terrorist organizations in the western countryside of Hassaka and in the northwestern countryside of Hama as well as in the northern countryside of Lattakia, killing and injuring many terrorists.

yesterday, army units recaptured points 767 and 803 overlooking Rabe’a town in the northern countryside of Lattakia and killed dozens of terrorists there.
