Syrian Students in Bulgaria Vowed Support for Homeland against Conspiracies

SOFIA,(ST)_ In celebration of the 65th anniversary of Syrian Student Day, Branch of the National Union of Syrian Students NUSS in Bulgaria, in cooperation with the Syrian Embassy and the Baath Party organization in Bulgaria held sport and entertainment events.

In this context, a ceremony was held under the title “our border Sama” during which the students renewed their support for homeland Syria against conspiracies.

Both the Syrian Ambassador in Bulgaria Nadera al-Sayyaf and chairman of the NUSS branch in Bulgaria Bilal Gaerli stressed the role of students in building the future of Syria and progress of society, noting the role that students play “along with our armed forces to” defend the homeland and to return and contribute to Syria building, after end of their studies abroad.

They noted the Syrian heroism to defeat terrorism, stressing that Syria will win, thanks for the solidarity between its people, army, and leadership against all hostile conspiracies.

They stressed that the Syrian students will remain adhered to the principles and fundamentals of the NUSS first student and founding leader Hafez al-Assad and will continue loyalty to their homeland, Syria.

In a statement at the end of their ceremonial events, the Syrian students in Bulgaria vowed loyalty to the motherland and its leader, stressing to make every effort to defend the country and rebuild it.

They expressed appreciation for the precious sacrifices of the Syrian army against the forces of evil and terrorism, voicing absolute support for all reform steps that are taking place in Syria under the leadership of President al-Assad and the army heroism to eradicate terrorism, and cut off the hands of its supporters.

They also expressed absolute rejection of all forms of foreign interference and Zionist-Wahabi dictates, condemning all despicable crimes committed against the Syrians, and indicating that these crimes will increase the resolve of the Syrians to make more sacrifices for the sake of Syria’s unity and independence.

On Friday and Saturday, the NUSS branch in Bulgaria organized two championships in volleyball in Rakovsky club lounge under the slogan “Syrian – Bulgarian friendship”, marking the Syrian students day with the participation of six clubs that were crowned at the end of the tournament.
