BASP Strongly Condemns Aggression against Yemen

DAMASCUS, (ST)_ The Regional Leadership of Baath Arab Socialist Party (BASP) has strongly condemned Saudi brutal aggression against Yemen, demanding its immediate halt and to respect Yemen’s independence, sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity.

“This disregard and irresponsibility towards Arab national security and sovereignty of an independent Arab country, is a flagrant violation of Arab brotherly relations and of the principles of international law.” Regional Leadership said in a statement on Saturday.

It pointed out that “those who claimed decisiveness were just cowards, humiliated and surrendered in the real battle of Arabs against Zionist entity,”  adding that their crimes stressed their subordination to the colonialist countries, reactionary regimes and their hostile project against Arab Nation.

It called on the brotherly people of Yemen to return to the table of dialogue without foreign interference and to work on as to find national solutions that preserve Yemen’s unity, independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity.

It stressed that Syrian people are always standing with their brotherly Arab countries that have been exposed to aggressions, adding that bleeding of Yemenis’ wounds strengthen the feeling of solidarity because we have the same cause and are facing the same enemy.”
