Syrian army recaptures hills, kills large numbers of terrorists

PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army has recaptured three hills in the western mountains of al-Zabadani in Damascus countryside and has killed large numbers of terrorists in Idlib and Aleppo, the official news agency (SANA) reported Thursday.

The agency quoted a military source as saying that army units recaptured Esh al-Nosor plateau plus Sheir al-Taqa and Sheir al-Joba hills in the western mountains of al-Zabadani in Damascus countryside where terrorists were inflicted heavy losses.

The fresh gain synchronized with striking terrorist hideouts in the eastern countryside of Homs and foiling terrorists’ infiltration bid into Idlib city in northwestern Syria.

‘al-Qusair’ brigade leader, ‘Ahrar al-Sham’ Military Commander killed

Leader of the so-called  the ‘al-Qusair’ brigade, dubbed Abo Arab, was among the terrorists killed in Homs countryside, according to social media, which confirmed the death of the Military Commander of the ‘Islamic Ahrar al-Sham’ movement, dubbed Abo Jamil Qeteb, on the outskirts of Idlib city.

SANA said that large numbers of terrorists were killed on the outskirts of Idlib city.

More terrorists were eliminated as army units carried out qualitative operations in Hritan, Batbo, Khan al-Asal and Tal Aran towns in Aleppo countryside.

There were also clashes between an army unit and terrorists in the eastern edge of Khanaser town where many terrorists were killed and injured.

The northwestern countryside of Aleppo, which is adjacent to the international roads that lead to Turkey, is one of the main crossing from which terrorists infiltrate into Syria to fight alongside al-Nusra Front.  

The Turkish Racep Tayyip Erdogan regime facilitates the infiltration of terrorists into Syria.
