Syrian army engages in fierce fighting with terrorist organizations in Daraa and Idlib

PROVINCES, (ST)_There has been fierce fighting between Syrian army and armed terrorist organizations on the outskirts of Idlib city and in Daraa countryside over the past 48 hours, according to the official news agency  (SANA).

The agency quoted a military source as saying that army units carried out numerous strikes against terrorist organizations on the outskirts of Idlib city and in the southern and eastern countryside of the province.

Dozens of terrorists affiliated the al-Nusra Front, the ‘Islamic Front”, the Ahrar al-Sham’ Movement , the ‘Jond al-Aqsa’ and other terrorist groups were killed as they were trying to attack Idlib city yesterday.

The terrorist organizations posted on social media photos of dozens of their members, some of them were of Saudi, Qatari and Turkish nationals, who were killed during the fighting with Syrian army.

Three suicide bombing were carried out by foreign terrorists on the outskirts of the city before the beginning of the fighting.

The Turkish Racep Tayyip Erdogan regime supports the terrorists, who launched the attack on the outskirts of Idlib city. While the Saudi regime offers support to terrorist organizations in several areas in the countryside of the province.

Moving towards the south of the country, army units engaged in fierce fighting with terrorist organizations on the outskirts of Bosra al-Sham city and foiled terrorist attack on towns of Jdeyeh and Qeta in the northwestern countryside of Daraa.

Many terrorists were killed and injured in the clashes and in a concentrated operation carried out by an army unit against a terrorist hideout in Semlin town, according to a military source.

The source added that army units pounded two terrorist hideouts in the northwestern countryside of Daraa and eliminated large numbers of terrorists in Semlin, Zemrin, Da’el and Hemrin towns.

Last night, army units destroyed a US-made Tow rocket launcher in Ma’araba town in the same province. 

The US, Israeli, Saudi, Qatari, French and Turkish intelligence agents run the Amman Military Operations Center (MOC) which gives order to terrorist organizations operating in Daraa and Quneitra countryside.

There were also military operations against terrorist organizations in the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus and al-Qalamoun area outside Damascus and in several areas outside Quneitra, Homs Hama Lattakia, Aleppo and Hassaka.

A bomb-making factory was destroyed on the outskirts of al-Shdadi city in the western countryside of Hassaka and a tunnel was destroyed in Jobar quarter near Damascus.

While in the eastern countryside of Homs, army units defused 6 explosive devices in al-Foroqlos area.

Moreover, army units recaptured several points in Jorod al-Mesherfeh town in the western mountains of al-Qalamoun area and obliterated many hideouts of al-Nusra Front there.
