Al-Rahi Calls for Ending War on Syria by Diplomatic and Peaceful Solutions

BEIRUT, (ST)_ Cardinal Mar Beshara Boutros Al-Rahi, Patriarch of Antioch and All East for Maronites has renewed the call for stopping the imposed war on Syria, Iraq and Palestine and to put an end to it by diplomatic and peaceful solutions.

In a speech yesterday, Al-Rahi said “The continuity of this war is a shame on the international community, because it is only aimed at political, economical and ideological gains and arms trade, without any consideration to the innocent citizens who were slaughtered, killed and displaced,” adding that the historical civilization should not be burned, destroyed and stolen.
