Syrian army kills large numbers of terrorists in Der Ezzour, Daraa, Aleppo

PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army has killed over 19 ISIS terrorists in Der Ezzour and has carried out concentrated operations against terrorist organizations in Daraa and Aleppo, the official news agency (SANA) reported Monday.

The agency quoted a military source as citing that army units killed 19 terrorists affiliated to the ISIS [known as Daesh in Arabic] and wounded several others in al-Reshdeyeh quarter and Shbat Street [February Street] in Der Ezzour city.

It added that army units eliminated large numbers of terrorists, including two ringleaders, on the outskirts of Bosra al-Sham city in the eastern countryside of Daraa.

2 terrorists ringleaders eliminated

“ A ringleader in the so-called the ‘Omar Bin Abdulaziz’ brigade, Ahmad Abdullah al-Hariri, plus a ringleader in the al-Nusra Front-affiliated the ‘al-Mothanna’ Movement, Ali al-Masalmeh, were among the terrorists killed in the clashes flared up between army units and terrorist organizations on the outskirts of Bosra al-Sham city,” a military source declared.

It indicated that an army unit destroyed a rocket launcher an armored car belonging to terrorists in the same city.

Last night, terrorists affiliated to the al-Nusr Front and the Ahrar al-Sham Movement launched rockets on urban areas in Bosra al-Sham city, killing at least 15 civilians and wounding several others, most of them were women and children.

Moving towards the north of the country, army units continued to target terrorist organizations sites in Aleppo countryside where many terrorists were killed and injured.

Terrorist organizations posted on social media photos for their members, who were killed in northern countryside of Aleppo.

Further terrorists were killed in several areas outside Idlib and Homs.   

Terror attack on fuel pipeline foiled  

On the other hand, the competent authorities in cooperation with popular defense groups clashed with terrorists that tried yesterday to attack fuel pipeline in an area located between Eriqa town in the western countryside of Sweida and Izra’a town in the eastern countryside of Daraa.

The clashes erupted in Em al-Alaq area.

“Two terrorists were arrested and the others run away,” SANA said, confirming that no damage was sustained in the pipeline.
