DAMASCUS, (ST)_ The Foreign and Expatriates Ministry vehemently condemned the terrorist attack which targeted the National Museum in Tunisia yesterday, and claimed scores of lives.
In a statement on Thursday, the ministry said “this criminal terrorist attack proves again that terrorism has either no religion or identity, therefore the Syrian Arab Republic renewed the call for unifying all regional and international efforts, according to international legitimacy, to eliminate terrorism which poses serious threat to peace, security and stability in the entire world.”
The ministry expressed deep condolences to the families of the victims and sympathy with brotherly country of Tunisia.
A terrorist attack targeted yesterday Bardo Museum western Tunis, claiming the lives of 22 people including 20 tourists, and wounded 42 others.
