Syrian army apprehends terrorist group, continues its operations in southern front

PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army has apprehended a terrorist group in Homs countryside and has continued to carry out qualitative operations outside Daraa, Quneitra and Idlib, the official news agency (SANA) reported Saturday.

The agency quoted a military source as citing that an army unit stormed a terrorist hideout in Hasyaa town in Homs countryside and arrested terrorist group’s members, who were smuggling weapons and munitions via Wadi Khalid in the Lebanese territories towards Jbab Hamad area in the eastern countryside of Homs.

Dozens of terrorists, who receive supports from the Lebanese Future bloc, spread in Wadi Khalid area on the Syrian-Lebanese border.

In the same province [Homs], army units killed many terrorist during a qualitative operation against terrorist hideouts in Wadi al-Nasasbeh area, which lies west of Hasya’a city in the southwestern countryside of the province.

Other qualitative operations were carried out by army units against terrorist organizations in towns of Kafr Nasej, Aqraba, Sida al-Golan, al-Lajat, Tafas, Da’el, and Daraa al-Balad in southern Daraa province as well as in Mas’hara, Nab’a al-Sakher, Rasm al-Khawalid, al-Sweseh towns in Quneitra countryside.

Many terrorists were killed and injured and several cars belonging to them were wiped out in the operations.

Further terrorists were eliminated in Broma farms, Abo Duhur, Ma’arret Mesrin, and Jedar Bakfalon areas  and on the outskirts of Jabal al-Arba’een area in Idlib countryside.
