Syrian army repels attack on Aleppo’s old city, kills 12 terrorist ringleaders in Quneitra

PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army has warded off terrorists ’attack on a school in the old city of Aleppo and has eliminated 12 terrorist ringleaders in the southern countryside of Quneitra, the official news agency (SANA) reported Thursday.

The agency quoted a military source as saying that an army unit repelled terrorists’ infiltration bid into the ‘Abdulhamid al-Zahrawi’ School, which lies east of the citadel in the old city of Aleppo.

Many terrorists were killed and injured during the confrontations.

Further terrorists were killed as army units struck terrorist strongholds outside Daraa and Quneitra in the southern front.

A military source decaled that many terrorists were killed and injured and several vehicles belonging to them were destroyed in a qualitative operation carried out by army units in Tisia town near the Syrian-Jordanian border.

Another qualitative operation was conducted by army units against hideouts of al-Nusra Front and other allied terrorist organizations affiliated to the al-Qaeda  in al-Lajat area  and Der al-Salt area.  

In the eastern countryside of Quneitra, army units struck terrorist hideouts in Mas’hara town, which lies near administrative boundaries  of Daraa province, and killed many terrorist there.

Media sources confirmed that 12 terrorist ringleaders- including a senior leader in the so-called ‘the first army’ which is linked to the Israeli intelligence agency , dubbed Abo Osama al-No’ayme- were killed in Kodneh town in the southern countryside of Quneitra.

As many as 85 terrorists were wounded in the airstrikes carried out Syrian warplanes against terrorist organizations in the same town and they were admitted to Israeli and Jordanian hospitals, according to the sources.

The sources clarified that the killed 12 terrorist ringleaders were planning to launch an attack on countryside of Daraa and Quneitra.   

Terrorists supported by the Amman military operations center, infiltrate from Syrian border into Syria.

Western and Arab Intelligence agencies plus the Mossad run Amman military operations center (MOC).

In another development, army units continued to target terrorist organizations outside Homs and Idlib and warded off al-Nusra Front’s attack on Dwerin town in the northern countryside of Lattakia .
