March 8 Revolution

Our people celebrate nowadays the actual revolution that Baath Arab socialist party (BASP) led on March 8 1963.

This revolution made a huge change in every political, economic and social sectors, that serves the Syrian citizens and bolsters the sovereignty of Syria in all Arab and international fields, and gives more strengthen to Syria in the international political map to be an invincible factor in the regional and international Equations. The 8 march revolution was an actual one because it came from true people.

It changed the structure of the Syrian society upside down  and distributed  the Syrian wealth to the poor and industrious people.

The Education became obligatory, free and available to every Syrian. Schools covered every spot in Syria. Many colleges were opened in every Syrian governorate. More than hundred hospitals and thousands of health centers were built since the revolution.

The electricity grid, water pipes and telecommunications reached to 97% of Syria.

One of the most important achievement of our revolution was building a strong army to defend the Syrian and the revolution.  This army today proves to the whole universe that it can stand against the international terrorism alone and beat the terrorists in every battle. The compass of our ideological national Army did not change and it will always be against the Zionist army in Palestine and Golan and its affiliated  terrorists.

52 years have passed since the revolution, and it can renew, review and develop itself to achieve more success and walk at the same road of Our late President Hafez al-Assad and H.E President Bashar al –Assad.
