Syrian army clashes with ISIS, targets terrorist ringleaders’ meeting

PROVINCES,(ST)_A clash flared up between Syrian army and ISIS on the outskirts of al-Sha’er field in Palmyra countryside a day after eliminating 7 terrorist ringleaders in the northern mountains of al-Qalamoun in Damascus countryside, according to the official news agency (SANA).

The agency clarified today that the clash erupted when terrorists affiliated to the ISIS [ its Arabic acronym is Daesh] tried to attack al-Maher gas station on the outskirts of al-Sha’er filed outside Palmyra.

It quoted a military source as confirming that the clash resulted in the death of many terrorists and destruction of several ISIS vehicles. “Many terrorists run away towards the heart of the Badia and left their weapons and munitions,” the source added.

The clash came a day after Syrian army recaptured the gas well 101 from the ISIS.

Dozens of media and intelligent reports assert that the ISIS sells the oil and gas stolen from the Syrian wells in cooperation with the Turkish Racep Tayyep Erdogan’s regime in a blatant violation of the U.N. recommendations and the U.N. resolution No. 2199 that prevents any trade with the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL, also known as Daesh] the Al-Nusrah Front and other entities designated to be associated with Al-Qaida. ‘

In another development, army units killed many terrorists and destroyed several vehicles belonging to them in Khan Touman, Shwehneh and al-Sheikh Lutfi towns in Aleppo countryside as well as in Kefr Nasej and Tal Hamad towns in Daraa countryside and in Broma farms, al-Bshereyeh and Abo Duhur areas in Idlib countryside.

Terrorist organizations announced through social media that six members of the ‘al-Shameyeh’ Front were killed and the leader of the northern sector in the ‘Islam army’ was wounded in Aleppo countryside.

Terrorists affiliated to the al-Nusra Front, the Hazm Movement, the Islam Army, the al-Slajeqa Mourad Brigade, the Sulatn Abdulhamid Brigade, the Ahrar al-Sham Movement, the Islamic Front and other terrorist groups spread in and outside Aleppo. They receive support from the Turkish Erdogan regime.

7 terrorist ringleaders killed

Last night, army units targeted terrorist ringleaders” meeting inside a hideout  in Wadi al-Khenzir in the eastern mountains of al-Qalamoun where 7 ringleaders died.

More terrorists linked to the so-called the “Islam’ brigade and the ‘Ahrar al-Sham’ movement were eliminated when army units struck their groupings in the eastern Ghouta of Damascus.
