Syrian army recaptures gas well from ISIS

PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army has recaptured a gas well  in Palmyra countryside from ISIS and has continued to strike terrorist organizations outside Daraa and Homs, the official news agency (SANA) reported Tuesday.

The agency quoted a military source as saying that an army unit in cooperation with popular defense groups regained control of the gas well 101 in Palmyra countryside and killed many ISIS terrorists there.

The fresh gain synchronized with striking the ISIS sites in Rhom town on the administrative boundary with Raqqa province where the terrorists were inflicted heavy losses.

Add to that army units continued to strike the hideouts of al-Nusra Front, the ‘Homs’ Legion, the ‘al-Farouq’ battalions and other terrorist organizations in the northern countryside of Homs.

Many terrorist were killed and injured in the strikes and in concentrated operations in al-Waer quarter in Homs city.

Moving towards the south of the country, it was reported that army units conducted fresh intensified operations against terrorist organizations in Tafas city and al-Kark town in Daraa countryside.
