Poll: 88% of the French support Parliamentarians Visit to Syria

Paris, (ST) _ An opinion poll conducted by (the first news channel) site in France revealed that 88 % of French citizens support the visit of the French parliamentarians to Syria. This is, however, a new emphasis on the split between the French current ruling system of government, and the position of the French people because of the system’s wrong policies towards Syria and its continued dependence on the USA.

In the course of the opinion poll, media professional Pascal Perry put via (B. FM) Radio TV site a question to the French public: Do you support that French parliamentarians resuming dialogue with the Syrian government? And the response was 88 % vowed yes and only 12% said no.

However, the result of the referendum confirms the failed foreign policies taken by the French government, especially in Syria, which in addition to French President Francois Hollande low popularity due to growing public anger related to increased taxes, unemployment, and the differences over the government’s policy on immigration.

The French delegation, which met on Wednesday with President Bashar al-Assad stressed the desire of many French parliamentarians to visit Syria and convey the reality of what is happening in the country to the French people, stressing the importance of coordination and exchanging information between Syria and France on issues of common concern.

The French delegation included French Senator Jean-Pierre Vial, who is head of the French – Syrian parliamentary friendship committee, deputy in the French National Assembly, Jacques Myard, vice president of the French- Syrian friendship Society, mayor of Maisons-Laffitte city and member of the French Senate and mayor of Laval city, Francois Zuchito.
